Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM) has produced a short explainer video on
the scope and limit of coverage provided under PIDM’s Deposit Insurance System (DIS).

The video aims to enhance depositors’ understanding of the protection provided
by PIDM under the DIS.

The two-minute video provides depositors with information on the following key areas:
1. types of deposits eligible for PIDM protection; and
2. deposit insurance protection limit for different deposit accounts.

While optional, we highly encourage member banks to broadcast this video at your
banking halls, website and disseminate it across your social media channels.
