On November 18, 2020, the "New Normal, New Opportunities--Malaysia China Business Forum" was
successfully held in Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The forum was organized by
the Malaysian Investment Development Agency ("MIDA"), a subsidiary of the Ministry of International
Trade and Industry of Malaysia ("MITI"), and was co-organized by CCB Malaysia and CCB China
Domestic Branches. The Forum is a hybrid event combining online and offline sessions which are
broadcast live on CCB's "Match Plus" platform.
The honored guests attending the Forum included Datuk Lim Ban Hong (Deputy Minister of MITI),
Mr. Li Chenggang (Assistant Minister of Ministry of Commerce, China), Dato’ Azman Mamud
(CEO of MIDA), and the representatives of relevant domestic and overseas institutions of CCB, etc.
The Forum introduced Malaysia’s business and investment environment to potential Chinese
investors,shared successful investment cases of Chinese companies in Malaysia, and provided
Chinese investors with a window to further understand the business investment environment and
opportunities in Malaysia.
