CCBM TO HOST THE 2ND CHINA-MALAYSIA B2B BUSINESS MATCHING SESSION FOR CHINA-ASEAN EXPO 2020

The 17th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit
(CABIS) will be held in Nanning from 27 – 30 November 2020. The theme of this year's CAEXPO is
"Building the Belt and Road, Strengthening Digital Economy Cooperation”, with the aim to serve
the upgrading of ASEAN – China Free Trade Area (ACFTA) and to tightenthe relation between
ASEAN and China.

 

The 2nd Malaysia-China B2B Business Matching Session in conjunction with China-ASEAN Expo
(CAEXPO) will be held on 28 November 2020, jointly organized by MATRADE, China-ASEAN Expo
Secretariat and China Construction Bank,and co-organized by CCB Guangxi Branch and CCB
Malaysia. It is one of the initiatives to increase the economic and trade cooperation between
Malaysia and China, further enhance the mutual benefit and win-win cooperation between
both countries.

 

The 1st Malaysia-China B2B Business Matching Session was held at 16th China-ASEAN Expo in
Nanning 2019; nearly 600 Chinese and Malaysian entrepreneurs conducted face-to-face
communication and signed deals worth nearly 10 million RMB, which was highly affirmed by
all participants.

 

Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, we will adopt a combination of online and offline
methods to hold this Session. The launching ceremony will be broadcast live on "CCB Match Plus"
platform.There will be 58 Malaysian enterprises from various sectors including Food & Beverages,
Healthcare & Wellness, Lifestyle and Services in this year’s CAEXPO. CCB will recommend quality
import enterprises from China to carry out online business matchmaking with Malaysian enterprises.

 

We will discuss in the new era how to deepen the cooperation between Chinese and Malaysian
enterprises, broaden the achievements of the China-ASEAN Expo, and promote new progress in
China-Malaysia economic and trade cooperation. Collaboration and participation in the Belt and
Road Initiative can also be deepened as a result of RCEP.
